INTRODUCTION

The Parents Support Group (PSG) membership consists of all current parents of students at James Cameron School.

The PSG meets 5 times per year, on the first Thursday of every other month.The Parents Support Group (PSG) meets for mutual support and to plan and carry out a variety of fundraising activities. Occasionally, workshops are offered through the PSG. This involvement helps provide a richer and more diverse educational experience for the students.

Funds are raised to provide enriched school experiences for the students such as; field trips, swimming excursions, senior camp, mini camp and special equipment.

The PSG also provides an annual bursary for former students of James Cameron School who wish to pursue post-secondary education.

All parents of students at James Cameron School are required to complete 30 hours of Parent Participation time in a variety of volunteer activities.
